Westminster Gold

Splendidly literal-minded album covers from the 1970s onwards. More here. The great John Ash has a poem about some of them.

The God of Bacon was not fond of the 1970's.

Great covers! I didn't know that label. By the way, is it a testicle what shows out of the space warrior's briefs in the cover of The Planets?

The bits of the seventies I was involved in, God of Bacon (the last six months of 1979), were mostly concerned with breasts and vomit, so the decade has a pleasingly rock-and-roll feel to my mind.

Professor Franz, it is indubitably a ball.
