Zaragoza!

Zaragoza, where we presented the publishing house this weekend, is a pleasant provincial town. No one seems to have informed the builders of the train station of this fact. This is the old train station. The building behind it is the new train station, or, as I like to call it, the seat of the regional party congress. It really would be a great location to shoot a science fiction film.

When's the last time we wrote something together? Valid Falcon days?
James, the first thing we saw at Bilbao airport was a robot on the side of a carpark. The heat-seared Jean Miro inspired wiggles and dots had been an inspiration for a children's playground on the beachfront in San Sebastian.
Once I had the beginnings of a sci-fi story- a man and a woman, man trying to say life is not just one big party with drugs floating around, lounging in a villa, when a spaceship hovers into view. It started blasting bits of the villa to pieces- the man ran, naked, to a cabinet to get his futuristic gun- the destruction caused the hypercause to go mental so the ground was boiling. Then he fired his gun at the spaceship, wearing only flip-flops. It wasn't much more than that. Spanish sci-fi... 2040?
